I did it!

I did my race for life! It has come round so quickly and now its over. Me, Kev and the kids traveled up to the city of London yesterday morning. Th kids were so excited!
They had to all wait in a different area and I had to go towards the start where we were going to do a warm up. Seeing all the people with their messages on there back had me in tears. People were racing for their mum, dad, grandparents or aunt like me. As we done our 1 minute silence the bells of St Paul's rang (more tears). We done a quick aerobic warm up and then we were ready to go. I was really excited and couldn't believe I was running with 5,000 other women. We counted down and then we were off. The kids were cheering me on but I took it easy for the first mile, it was such a hot day that at some point I struggled, but I ran the whole way in less than 30 minutes. Seeing the finishing line I sprinted to cross it. Really felt emotional at the end as mum met me and I think she was proud of me and I hope Auntie Sue would have been too.
If anyone what to sponsor me then I have my sponsor box thingy on the side.
