fab fab fab few days!

Wow I have had a fab few days and now need to do a long post to blog about it all!

Saturday was our wedding anniversary and yes you guessed it St Valentines day.
After work (the 1st of the Year album class was fabby!) we went to the most fabulous Punch Bowl at High Easter. We had never eaten there before and wasn't disappointed. Highlights were
Getting an orchid on arrival
The champagne and strawberry cocktail
Heart shaped butter
Scallops for starters
A wine glass as big as my head!
Belly of pork (OMG!)
Being able to have a little bit of everything for the dessert trolley
Being invited to look at the owners wine rooms
Hand made chocolates to take home

spending time with my fav man!

Phew! It was such a wonderful place, thanks Suzanne for recommending it.
And to top it all off Kev brought me this baby....

Soooooooooooooooo the next day was the Sugar and Spice girls road trip. We were heading to NEC to buy goodies for the shop.

The gang! We had just done our make and take with the new K&Co range.

Another piece of loveliness. This was on a wonderful button stall and the kind lady showed how to make so watch this space! The coolest thing ever was there web site details were on huge buttons! Now that's a great business card.

Here is Marion doing a class we took. We were using silver leaf. Now I know this is a really old fashioned technique but there is just something cool about it. I cant wait until we get some in the shop so I can have a proper play.

Me and Polly are a bit excited about kilt pins!

Ohhhhh the American craft goodies! I really really really cant wait to get these in!!!

Thanks girls for a fab time. We invented new works, revitalised old ones and Paula came out with the most random northern phrases ever!!!
