What makes snow so amazing?!

I'm not a massive snow fan. Well when I say that I mean in the cold slushy way.
The freshly fallen, mystical snow is so different. Right now I'm on my way back from a comedy night and it's chucking it down! The Essex countryside never looked so good. Here are some pictures
